BIS A U10 finished their league season with a solid 4-0 win against a hard working SM A team This win clinched 3rd spot for BIS and the 4th goal scored by Michael Wang was the 50th league goal of the season for the team, a fitting reward for the attacking flair shown by the team all season.
Jeremy Hillock continued his goal scoring exploits with another thunderbolt from the edge of the box following a great run and footwork down the left by Charlie McFadden, The second was a penalty with rather hostile barracking going on around him Hillock kept a cool head to slot the kick home This brought his tally to 14 for the season, an outstanding debut season for Jeremy.
Ablai McKerrow who has also been in great form lately opened the scoring with a brave headed goal and the fourth was a team goal with a non stop display from Michael Wang finally pushing the loose ball home. In defence Chelsea Rock, Siddartha, Calum Pitkethly, Zach Parsons and the impeccable Tom Mawson rarely gave the SM attack a chance at goal and the odd occasion they did Jong Joo Kim continued to show his vast improvement in goal.
Rijal Rowe played midfield for a change and was also his usual non stop self and our Captain Luke Faulds had a great game and was unlucky not to score with the SM keeper also playing a standout game. Dong H Kim was dominant and the highlight of the first half was a brilliant mazy run down half the length of the field by our top scorer Mathew Bavin (17 goals) who beat 4 men before crossing the ball. Mathew scored some breathtaking goals this season.
Hats off to both JIS A and SCB A for unbeaten seasons lets hope the play off has plenty of goals and excitement.
