A bruising win to BIS Under 10 Red
What an pulsating game today with play swinging from one end of the field to the other. It was a bruising encounter between two top teams and when BIS Under 10 Red were down 2-1 in the 3rd quarter, the game looked in the hands of Al Azhar. But in the final quarter, BIS Red found some extra resilience, grit, and toughed their way to a 3-2 win. To me, an untrained eye when it comes to football, the best player today was the goalkeeper,Gijs, pictured below.
The handshakes at the end.
It's all over, as BIS players breathe a sigh of relief.
Fred looking relieved and proud that his team notched up this fantastic win.

Close marking and hard graft to get the ball was the hallmark of the game.

In the last quarter, BIS had a number of chances to score.
Jeremy phoning his Dad who is hospitalised in Singapore, to tell him the result of the match.
Our supporters made so much noise that the BIS noise control team was brought in to quieten them down.
Serious during the warm-up. These boys wanted a win badly.
