BIS A played an excellent game of football against a strong Al Azhar team to win 4-1 in a hard fought match. The first quarter was very tight with both goalkeepers prominent and ended goalless. YongJoo Kim in goal for BIS A made some fine saves to keep BIS level. The second quarter was the turning point with a great midfield display of game winning tackles from Jeremy Hillock, Luke Faulds and the non stop Michael Wang plus the brave defending by Chelsea Rock, Calum Pitkethly and Zach Parsons. The third quarter continued at a fast pace with Al Azhar pushing BIS all the way but it was Mathew Bavin again who made it 3-0 with a well taken shot from outside the box. Al Azhar never stopped playing good football and pulled a goal back immediately to make it 3-1 To BIS. The depth of the BIS squad showed its strength with great performances by Rijal Rowe, Tom Mawson and Dong Hyun Kim and upfront Ablai McKerrow was looking very sharp and showed his varied skills with some great footwork which resulted in Mathew Bavin getting his second hat trick of the season when Mathew showed sublime control and composure to score from a tight angle. This was an excellent team goal. Final score 4-1 to BIS A.
Once again the game was won in midfield with Jeremy Hillock and Luke Faulds dominating the battling Al Azhar midfield.
