BISBOY BLUE NOW BISBOYRED UNDER 10

Dear all

I am just back from leave so am updating the boy's football blog. As most of the boys have moved from BIS Blue under 9 to BIS Red under 10, I have changed the blog to bisboyred. Congratulations to the team for its 6-3 win over JJC last week. Any match reports and photos or any other news most welcome.

Here is the latest letter from Fred.

Thanks Bob McKerrow (Ablai's Dad)

Dear Parents,
First of all a great thanks for your support on Saturday V JJC, as prediclted this was a very tough match and was only really won in the final 15 minutes or so by a strong performance from the overall team. It was nice to see some impressive football/passing being made and some good levels of fitness by BIS A especially considering it was our first game, the JJC coach commented on our good football to me after the game and that BIS were too strong for them in the end as his team tired!.I think our commitment to the midweek training last week certainly helped the squad be prepared for this match.
We have the first of the ASA training sessions tomorrow wed 14th.This season the coaches asked BIS to make these sessions longer to have more impact and improve efficiency so they have agreed to provide the buses for a 1600 hrs finish rather than the very short 1520 finish of last season.I will also attend this training when I can so I can have specific training for the A team carried out.
Unfortunately we do not have a game on Saturday as with 11 teams in the A league, each week one team has a free week, this is ours. However in an effort to get games played as soon as possible the league have set games for SUNDAY 18th at BIS Main field A V the BIS Blue team !!! Kick off is I apologise for this,0800 hrs.
This will be an awkward game playing against our close mates from school and lots of rivalry and banter will go on this week and after I am sure.BIS Blue played well on Saturday and were unlucky to lose 3-2.
Please let me or Peter know if you have any problems with the game on Sunday.
I will post the match report on the website today.

Best regards,
Fred
